Customer Reviews
Good value with the offer
I was a first-time buyer and got an introductory offer on the Essential Subscription. It was a good deal for the price I paid. I was looking for UK Birth Marriage and Death Records and found quite a few. The amount of information available for what I spent felt like good value. If I had paid full price, I might have expected a bit more, but with the discount, it was definitely worth it. I was worried it would be hard to find things, but the search tools made it simple enough to get started.
Decent service, some issues
I signed up for the Premium Subscription to research my Irish ancestors. The ordering process was smooth, and I received the confirmation email right away. Delivery isn't really a thing here since it's all digital, but access was instant. I used the Irish Parish Records quite a bit and found them detailed. The Family Tree Builder Tool worked okay, though it sometimes lagged when adding many new people at once. I also accessed the British Newspaper Archive, which was a nice bonus. Customer support was helpful when I had a question about a specific record type; they responded within a day. Overall, a solid service for genealogy research.
Good records, easy to use
I bought the Essential Subscription last month. Found what I needed quickly. Site loaded fast. Records were clear. Good experience.
Useful, but minor annoyances
I purchased the Plus Subscription mostly for the 1921 Census access. The census records were fantastic and easy to navigate; I found several relatives I was looking for. The search function worked well for that. However, I noticed that the Historical Map Search feature wasn't always intuitive to use, and it took a bit of fiddling to get the results I wanted. The site design is generally clean, but some of the older record sets were a little hard to read even with the zoom function. Customer service answered my question about a billing date quickly. It's a good platform for British records, just a few small things could be smoother.

Wondering about the 1921 Census. Is that just a one-time payment or do you need a specific subscription to view it?
Hey guys, thinking about getting a subscription. Do they ever have sales or discounts? Or is it pretty much always full price?
